Paseo Improvements
Improve and refine the self-hosted Paseo setup so it is secure, reliable, easy to operate, and useful across the whole environment.
This milestone covers follow-up work after the initial relay, web UI, direct-mesh, and AI-agent integration work. Its purpose is to turn Paseo from a working deployment into a well-understood, maintainable remote-work platform.
Potential areas include:
- Hardening direct mesh access and clarifying the security model.
- Completing and validating the Chaos relay/web UI cutover.
- Improving fallback and recovery procedures for relay or host failures.
- Refining host placement, service monitoring, alerting, and update behaviour.
- Improving pairing, mobile access, and direct-versus-relay connection ergonomics.
- Documenting operational workflows, architecture, and troubleshooting.
- Identifying useful Paseo features or integrations that improve day-to-day agent work.
Each issue should describe its intended user-facing or operational improvement, keep changes declarative where practical, and include appropriate deployment evidence before closure.
