Ref #89.

Goal

Add the core Hyprland desktop shell around the compositor.

Scope

  • Integrate a launcher such as Rofi or an equivalent existing package.
  • Integrate SwayNC or another declarative notification daemon.
  • Integrate Hyprlock for locking, with existing system authentication and session conventions.
  • Add only the minimum keybinds and window/layer rules required for a coherent first session.

Acceptance criteria

  • Launcher, notifications, and lockscreen work in the optional Hyprland session.
  • The components are owned by focused modules rather than one monolithic home file.
  • Locking and logout/power actions do not bypass existing authentication or safety controls.
  • Personal application assignments and decorative theme choices remain separate follow-up concerns.
